France : Provence
From limestone ridges to vineyard plains, moving through classic Provence.
Provence is a meeting of elevated plateaus, vineyard valleys, limestone massifs, ochre cliffs, and one of Southern France’s most striking coastlines. Each area brings its own terrain: the soft rolling landscapes of the Alpilles, the forested ridges and markets of the Luberon, the dramatic canyons and blue-water gorges of the Verdon, and the sun-carved cliffs and coastal trails between Aix and the Cassis coast.
Movement here has a natural flow. Routes lead through olive groves, shady pine forests, ridge crests, calanques, and open countryside shaped by centuries of rural life. Provence offers a balance between active discovery and slow southern atmosphere — morning hikes or rides, afternoons with artisans and winemakers, and evenings in towns that come alive with warm light and local food culture. It’s a region defined by diversity of terrain and a rhythm that invites you to go deeper, one landscape at a time.

Provence shines from April to June and September to October.
Lavender blooms only from mid-June to mid-July, though village crowds are higher during this window. We adjust timing and pacing to keep days relaxed -
Expect a mix of rolling countryside, forest paths, limestone ridges, canyons, and picturesque villages. Routes can be adapted for lighter or more active days.
Our itineraries are highly adaptable, offering options for relaxed coastal walks, cultural visits, beach time, shorter hikes, or more active inland adventures.
This flexibility makes the region ideal for families with teens, multigenerational groups, and travellers seeking a varied balance of activity and leisure. -
We design every itinerary to minimise time in the vehicle, keeping most activity areas 10–30 minutes apart. To reach certain standout highlights — a dramatic cape, a panoramic ridge, or a quiet inland valley — you can expect one or two transfers of up to an hour, typically placed at the start or end of the day for a smooth flow.
During peak summer, some coastal roads become busier. When needed, we adjust routing to avoid peak-hour traffic and may use boats, quieter inland access roads, or early/late departures to keep the experience seamless.

Yes. Every journey can be shaped to your preferences. Most guests begin with one of our curated itineraries — you choose the activity level, pace, and travel style, and we tailor the flow and highlights around your group.
If you prefer a fully custom-built trip (unique routing, structure, length, or combinations), this is possible through a separate design process and pricing structure. We will clarify all options before moving forward to ensure the trip matches your vision.
Either way, we work closely with you to create an experience that reflects exactly what you’re looking for.

The French Riviera uses the Euro (€). Card payments are accepted almost everywhere — cafés, restaurants, shops, beach clubs, taxis, and small villages. ATMs are widely available. Cash is only occasionally useful for local markets or small artisan producers.

English is usually well spoken across hospitality, transportation, and most coastal towns. In smaller inland villages, not everyone speaks English fluently, but locals generally make a genuine effort — even more so when you use a few simple French phrases.
We share these key expressions with you before the trip, helping interactions feel warm, natural, and part of the experience. And of course, our local partners ensure everything remains seamless throughout your journey.
