Liguria Ponente
An In-Depth Escape from inland valleys and high passes to the wild Ligurian coast
This multi-adventure journey through Liguria Ponente takes you further off the coast and deeper into the land, following the full arc from river-cut valleys and hilltop villages to high mountain passes and back to the sea. With more time to settle into place, the rhythm slows and widens — moving, exploring, and slowing down across inland Liguria before reconnecting with the coast.
You’ll trace quiet mountain roads, ancient paths, and forested ridgelines, cool off in rivers, and linger in villages shaped by craft, stone, and daily life. As the land opens again toward the Mediterranean, the journey returns to cliffs, water, and long horizons — shaped by how deep you want to go, and designed as an In-Depth Escape for those drawn to distance, contrast, and immersion rather than pace.

Your host manages logistics, activities, and daily flow, while also sharing key moments with the group—including lunches and dinners—creating a balanced, social, and relaxed experience.
-
Trips are private by default.
If a departure is opened to other travelers, it will be clearly listed on our Open Trips page, allowing others to join the same dates.
-
Group size depends on whether the trip is private or open.
Private trips have no fixed minimum or maximum. For the best overall experience, we generally recommend keeping groups under 16 guests. For very small private groups (under 4 guests), a small-group premium may apply to cover fixed logistics and staffing costs.
Open trips are intentionally capped at around 16 guests, ensuring smooth logistics, strong group dynamics, and a more personal experience.
Any group-size considerations will be clearly confirmed during the planning process and detailed in your Trip Doc.
