Yucatán Peninsula
An In-Depth Escape into remote jungle, monumental ruins, lagoon stillness, and Caribbean reefs.
Yucatán is shaped as much by what lies beneath the surface as what rises above it. Ancient ceremonial cities emerge from dense jungle, colonial towns gather life around open plazas, and vast underground water systems thread silently through limestone bedrock. Cenotes, lagoons, mangroves, and reef systems connect the peninsula from inland plains to the Caribbean edge, creating a landscape where water, ritual, and movement have always been inseparable.
This In-Depth Escape builds on that foundation by pushing further into Yucatán’s interior and slowing the rhythm at its most powerful moments. After grounding the journey in colonial cities, living culture, and cenote networks, the route leaves the road behind—crossing into deep jungle by air, spending unhurried time among monumental ruins, and re-emerging through the still waters of Bacalar before closing on the Caribbean. The result is a journey that feels quieter, wilder, and more immersive, balancing exploration with space, scale, and silence.

-
Group size depends on whether the trip is private or open.
Private trips have no fixed minimum or maximum. For the best overall experience, we generally recommend keeping groups under 16 guests. For very small private groups (under 4 guests), a small-group premium may apply to cover fixed logistics and staffing costs.
Open trips are intentionally capped at around 16 guests, ensuring smooth logistics, strong group dynamics, and a more personal experience.
Any group-size considerations will be clearly confirmed during the planning process and detailed in your Trip Doc.
